Merchants, Agents or Vendors can load value onto your MobiCash account or assist you in sending gifts or transferring money to another MobiCash account. MobiCash merchants, agents and vendors can provide the same functions as an ATM and the only equipment required is… a phone.

You can access your transaction history on www.mobicashonline.com to verify expenses and control savings and sub accounts. From the website you can send money to another phone’s MobiCash account. If you have a bank card you can also load money onto your MobiCash account with an e-commerce transaction. Your phone must always be present to effect a MobiCash transaction on the website; in this way, NSDT™ provides 360 degrees of protection for your MobiCash account using what you already own… your phone.

ATM
Tagattitude has developed an NSDT™ application for secure, proximity transactions between the ATM and mobile phone. Thus, ATMs equipped with this technology offer the possibility of withdrawing cash from your MobiCash account using your cell phone. This application opens ATM services to unbaked populations. Withdrawing money only requires… a cell phone.

Merchant
Merchants, agents and vendors equipped with MobiCash’s Mobile Payment Terminal (MPT) can accept payments with MobiCash at their point of sale. To receive a payment, the merchant enters the amount and the client enters their phone number on the terminal keypad.

MobiCash calls a number and the transaction is signed by dipping the phone into the MPT—the signature is instant (~2 sec.) and each account is credited and debited accordingly. Transactions are confirmed by SMS, vocal-message, email, or printed receipt. Merchants can even accept transactions without an MTP, they could just use ….their cell phone !
